I have been so scared for the past 3 months and have been having the worst anxiety about the thought of me falling out of love or not being with my boyfriend forever.
We have been together for 6 months. He is the 1st "nice guy" I have ever dated. I have always been in emotinally draining and abusive relationships and finally decided to get out of it.....
I still enjoy spending time with him, going away on wknd just the 2 of us, we still have a great intimacy life, he makes me laugh and he is so genuine, caring, hot, sincere, trustworthy etc....
It probably sounds like I am going crazy right now but I just for some reason do not feel like this is all happening or it is not real or something?!??!
Why is this happening? Since I have always been with abusive losers i have never got past that infatuation stage but now that I have gotten past it I dont know if it is normal or how to even know what normal is?!??!

You will know when you fall deeply in love for someone and its natural, you cant stop it. He's just probably the guy that might be right for you or that type of guy you like. When you dont have any interest in the person, it means something is missing form the person that you want. What you are experiencing is all normal.

You are just not used to having a guy treat you properly, just relax and go with the flow. This is a normal feeling for someone who has always been in abusive relationships, youdon't feel like you are worthy of a decent guy and that it can't happen to you. But you are worthy and it can happen.

just dont be content because hes a nice guy. keep things hot. i know cause im pushing five years with the same woman... don't let the fire burn out. keep things like the first few dates! that is perfection! you cant grow old together unless you two always stay as you were when your passion was sparked...

Well, I've been in this situation. I trust my boyfriend and everything, but my friend has been scaring me with the saying.. "Boys will be boys". Yet, I talked to my boyfriend about that. Usually, girls won't talk to boys about that stuff, but if you can get him to somehow know he is not like that, that might help a bit.
