Well he could want to be married for the traditional reasons like 1. He loves her 2. She's pregnant or nontraditional reasoning like he's crazy....guys are usually pretty serious because they get to a point where they realize it's supposed to be "forever" and they don't want to be stuck with the wrong girl

Men usually don't play with the "M" word and most of the time they are seriously in love. Other than that a man might ask his girlfriend to marry him especially if he has @#*% up and doesn't want to lose her!

Usually when a man asks you to marry him this means he wants to get married and settle down with you. Why would he not be serious if he asks you to marry him? They usually do not ask if they do not mean it.

Got sick of living alone and hoping to ready meal, clean house and regular sex. Maybe hoping to children, but thats rare.
