It is clear or slightly yellowish. If you are leaking fluid, you need to go to the hospital! It's time!!! If you are even in doubt, call your doctor or go to the hospital. I leaked with my second and was unsure. I was right! It was my fluid and my little girl was born hours later! Good luck!

Amniotic fluid should be a straw colour and should have a smell to it. If you are unsure and you're still leaking put a pad on and call your midwife.

My amniotic fluid was just clear. Smell it. If its amniotice fluid it either will have a sweet smell or no smell at all. If its urine, then of course will smell like that.

Well, your amniotic fluid -SHOULD- be clear- if it's tinted a color or smells funny, call your doc asap.
