...as well as any other similar sites and public blog forums to spread slanted pro-Bush views, opinions and propaganda?
For instance...on this site, a quick profile check of many of the most vehement and rabid pro-Bush posters reveal astronomical amounts of points earned by them, something that would take an ENORMOUS amount of time online to accumlate for an average working person, either self employed or working at a place of employment...unless it is their MAIN JOB to literately spend hours a day online posting on sites like this.
Such time and points accumulations are simply something that normal working people are not capable of doing in the short time that Yahoo! Answers have been online, unless they are really paid or volunteer PROFESSIONAL BLOGGERS who do this full time for the State Department or for some rogue Neocon outfit committed to encouraging destabilization and confusion among their enemies through the spread of DIS-information.
Is it possible?

I think you're underestimating the amount of free time that some people have. I think it's perfectly reasonable to believe that someone with strong views, especially political, could and would spend a lot of time propogating or defending or lashing out. State dept? I doubt it. Govt departments don't serve at the pleasure of the President; too impractical to change out ALL the personell every four or eight years. Now a private group of volunteer zelots? Sure, why not. Go back and check some of the postings by those profiles you were looking at. I think you'll find that the ones with the most points are the ones that post the most rancorous and nasty questions and answers. That would be consistant with the kind of passion necessary to spend a lot of time on line hacking away at thier "enemies".
If you really take a step back from your own political slant, and it's clear from your language that you have one, I think you'll find that ALL points along the political spectrum are well represented on the internet, with some heavier traffic at the far opposite ends.

What people? The government is understaffed as it is why would they waste time watching people who say they hate Bush? There are far more dangerous places in the world than internet forums.

Yes. With a big eared monkey in the White House either screaming for bananas or his mommy running the US what do you expect.
