I've tried some of them and the only one that has actually paid me is mysurvey.com. In order to make money you really have to check every day to see if you have any new surveys...it's almost like having a job, because you have to dedicate time to answering surveys, and the ones that give you the most points are the ones that are most involved--some even ask you to take notes, like what products you use on a daily basis.

When I participated in this diligently I made about $10 a month because I'm a student living with my parents (I think older/independent people get more surveys), but it was like free gas for a week :D

Word of caution, I suddenly started receiving MASSIVE LOADS of spam in my email once I signed up for a lot of these survey sites. So you might want to make a separate email for them.

To answer your question, there are basically 2 types of survey sites (1) "focus" groups survey site where depending on your interests, experiences, age etc you get sent a "survey" that requires feedback. Best thing is that you get paid real good for your time and effort..the only set back is that you have to pay to join, by paying helps weed out the people who are not really serious! Also you usually make back your money by the second survey (2) the second type of survey site is where you visit their home page, do a few surveys and free offers usually take anywhere from 1/2 hour to an hour a day...the main disadvantage is that you have to do this regularly and you have to visit the site, they don't sen you surveys to your inbox...for more helpful information, check out the link below

Having so many paid surveys available all the time lets you live the kind of life you want.

I travel with my family 3 or 4 months every year! While I'm on vacation, I love to take paid surveys while relaxing on the beach. I can pay for my entire stay in just a few hours of taking surveys!

I have been making money on internet for 4 years and I was personally scammed by a good many making money methods. Finally,I found the most legitimate, effective and fast way for beginner to make money is doing paid surveys if you have a computer with Internet access and can sit at your computer for 1.5-3 hours per day.

But before joining a paid survey network, you should be sure that the paid survey company satisfies the following minimum requirements:
1. In business for at least 1 year.
2. Well organized, easy to navigate directories.
3. Directories updated at least weekly.
4. Helpful resources available for newcomers.
5. No "waiting period". Eligible immediately..
And more,more....

I understand it is difficult for a new online money maker to judge whether a paid survey site is good or not.So I found a survey club to help beginner make money on internet. You can visit http://www.**************** to find how to earn money easily and legally.Hope that help you.

The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.

Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

Well, ACOP often pays $5-10 per survey. So does e-search and Pinecone Research (if you can find a place to sign up--they aren't always taking participants). Your2Cents pays $1-3 per survey. The ones that use points tend to pay less when you calculate it out, but Oppinion Outpost is still not bad. They give $1 for ever 10 points you earn, and their surveys (that I've taken at least) range from 15 - 55 points (so, $1.50-$5...most pay $2-3).

Anyways, I list/review those and others here:

and have tips on avoiding scams here

I carry out quite a few paid surveys each day, The money is not too bad at all. No one's going to get rich doing this but it helps me out loads at the end of each month and covers half my mortgage payments.

I had to quite a bit of searching about and got ripped off twice before I found this site :

Definately the best one I've tried.

Yes you can, but ebay can give you much more than the paid surveys can give you, and you don't know when your next form etc n how they handle your personal data. Its also depend on from where you are (country) it will make different for your income result.
Take a look on ebay, you can sell almost everything here. Use your ability, creativity, also a little business sense n you will be successful here. I personally got more from ebay than my formal income.
Best Wishes to Your Success
