Regarding PAN card?

i am from hyderabad and i am not working, is it possible for me to get a PAN card...In the application form there is an option for no source of Income...Just wanted to be sure.

It requires only ration card and Driving lision nothing else my friend. Go to near by PAN card center( usually UTI banks do it). It takes 72 Rs for all procedures and within 15 days u will get it home my friend. Don't worry if u r unemployed then also u can get it.

Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a ten-digit alphanumeric number, issued in the form of a laminated card, by the Income Tax Department. A typical PAN is AABPS1205E.

PAN Card has become a complusary to all of us, above the age of 18, even if we are not working we can get it. PAN means Income Tax "Parmanent Account Number"
It is possible for you to get a PAN card and given in the application form there are 3 Options
Item No.1.is 13(a),Salaried employee, 2.13(b) Business?Profession and 3.13(c) Others, you take 3rd 13(c) in that colum you will Tick Others and write Code No. 20 and that reson is get a job, Open a bank account,TDS and I.D.& D.O.B.Proof its....

You can apply for pan card from chennai like any other pan card. But you have to submit your identity proof which i guess is Coimbatore. When you fill up the form u can give additional details about alternative correspondence address. But you will also have to give residence proof of Chennai which is your current address or employers certificate which would also be of Chennai.So you will receive your pan card and other correspondence in Chennai.

Hey no need any incomes for PAN card. i apply for pan n i got that so no need income and extra just u apply with u r MEMOS N CERTIFICATES..........
