my daugther is wanting one for her birthday! just wanting to know if they are any good and what is the new sonic game like !

The wii is really good. It's a great way to keep your daughter active whilst having great fun. I hihly recommend it, especially because it comes with a great game (free) - Wii Sports! Wii sports has countless hours of fun packed onto one Disk. Also, your daughter will have great fun with the Mii channel on the wii, in which you can create your own characters, use them in some games (such as wii sports) and send them to friends who also have a wii. Other games to look out for are:
-Super Smash Bros. Brawl
-Sonic and the secret rings (great fun, you use the wii remote to move him in different directions by tilting it. Highly recommend!)
-Super Mario Galaxy
-Metroid Prime 3
-Wii play
-Warioware: Smooth moves
The wii also has convenient "channels" for grown ups, such as a weather channel, news channel and a web browser.
Good luck with your decision. Your daughter will definately enjoy the wii.

Wii's are the biggest selling video game system! Theyre out selling even the playstation 3. Practically everyone wants one, from kids to buisness men. You actually are more involved in the video games then ever, becouse the controllers have you moving your arms and hands.
For example....you can actually use the wii remote as you play a baseball game, swinging it like a bat, and the motion sensors are VERY precise.
Another example is even cooking....you can use the wii controllers to do a cutting motion, in the game Cooking Mama.
Plus, you can have great fun with fishing games, where both controllers act as a fishing rod and real. Its amazing.
The wii system also is the most affordable machine. and comes with nintendo wii sports games included in the box, for free....like boxing...bowling...etc.
The wii is just PURE fun. You can even have it hooked to your internet and you can get news through AP news, and even local weather.
Its just awesome. Get one as soon as you can, cuz they are going fast.
However, Nintendo are realeasing a couple million or so Wii's this spring, so there is a great chance of buying one.
The Wii is this generations hottest form of entertainment.
And ofcourse, you get all the games like Mario, that EVERYONE and their grandma love.
You cant go wrong with a Wii :)
I cant wait to buy one.

the wii is great very fun it is hard to put down the wiiremote. Also if you really get into the wii it could be like a mini workout . The new Sonic game is fun i personally like it. Also a game that is coming out called super paper mario which will comeout april 9th wich will rule
Overall yes you should get it for her

They are very fun and unique. I haven't played the new Sonic game yet but I plan on doing so soon.
Oh, and good luck trying to find a Wii.

I wished i could buy one right now, but i pre ordered a PS3 because they are going to be very hard to buy after a few days from when it's released and because i cheaper than a normal blu ray player which costs £900 in hmv. If you didn't pre order a PS3 buy a wii.

My sister and i both have Wii's and we're hoping to get one for our brother for his b'day next month. the system itself is great fun and we've had mum playing on it too! My sister has the sonic game and she's enjoying it altho i haven't personally played it. i would highly recommend the system itself tho.

its brill, cos you dont have to be connected via cable and joypad you dont have to sit almost on top of the tv. sonic game is excellent also.
