you need a router my friend to be able to connect the wireless laptop to the net. Your router will be connected to your PC, so both can access the net from the same hardware. Have you got a router?

The last piece of your puzzle would be a wireless router. You didn't mention which broadband service you use??? VERIZON (the one i use) and some COMCAST services have a combination wireless router and modem that they will support!
Start by hooking up the wireless Router (Read their instructions.) G is the most common speed, but a cheap B version will be pretty fast for you.
When that is running, plug in your laptop card. Is it a G or B??? You want to match versions, if possible. Manufacturers can vary.
You're wireless! Go surf the internet for something!

if you are running from a wireless router ensure that is up and running for starter. Then i think you have to run the wireless broadband cd to install it and get it all set up! restart the pc/laptop and it should run, if not contact your server! hope this helps.
