i was excited to hear that the creator/writer of boomtown (one of the best television shows -- ever) was involved with another show, but the first episode i saw was unimpressive and, quite frankly, boring. thoughts from any boomtown fans? or was i the only one who loved that show?

I absolutely LOVED Boomtown! You are so right....that was one of the best shows ever....very unique and a great cast! I also watched the first episode of Raines. I did not like it. My husband and I turned it off halfway through because we were not interested. It is nothing like Boomtown and wasn't what I expected. I didn't know it was the same creator....thanks for informing me. Don't you miss Boomtown?????? I do!
