I dont have any confidents i want to die i hate my life cause of my arble past my dad used to beat my mum up i thought it was playing i thought they was playing but it was not playing and i blame myself i should of stop him from beating my mum up i should of understood. My mum was scard of him. My dad pured alcohol down me my mum was angry. I was bullied at school.

Chatting online is fine, but it is no substitute to chatting with ppl in real life. Do you go to church? Sunday School (even for adults or older kids) is great, in addition to the regular Sunday morning service. Are you a student? Chat with ppl in school. You might also do some volunteer work where you can meet ppl, not just the needy, but also other volunteers. Don't just sit at home and brood. It sounds like you are from the UK. There are plenty of museums (free museums) there so get out of the apt./house and have some fun there (even if you don't have a chance to talk much.)

You should choose a chat room based off of your interests, as opposed to perusing dating sites. that much will take a lot of the pressure off; dating chat sites tend to have a lot of inside, you know games and stuff and the other person is expecting you to persue them, whether or not you really want them. There are plenty of ways to meet people on line without talking about that, you know.
Try putting your own site out there, a blog or personal web page, advertise the site and encourage people to stop by. Yahoo! has the 360 thing, heck, anymore anyone that puts up a site on MySpace is bound to get someone talking to them, whether they initiate that conversation or not. There are plenty of forums like this one where people converse about stuff they're interested in; again, Yahoo! has plenty of Groups that may interest you. It really isn't that hard, you just have to take that first step.

I have low confidence too, you just have to try your best to get out there. After a while it will get easier, i hope you have some good close friends who can help you.

there are several chat rooms you can get hooked into. get a my space account and you can meet new people. good luck and don't have low confidence!!! be happy!!!
