Your question is a bit too broad to answer accurately I'm afraid. The apyscale varies considerably based upon the particular market the tv station is located in (say NY City vs Seattle vs Waco ,Tx) Generally the larger the local market , the greater the anchors pay. That also will depend on whether they are working for a network , or local affiliate for a network.

Their experience will also figure into the equation. In a very small market an anchor might be earning in the range of $70-100K....in larger marhets that could easily double.

Another factor would also be how much actual reporting they are expected to do, or are they just doing anchor desk ?
