Just hanging around---Need major help v _ v?

Question

Ok this is about an American novel I am writing it’s so cool and mostly teenagers life-style, with many extended events with hysterically beautiful comedy………Anyway I thought some of you would know away in order to publish my novel by keeping the copyrights for the author which is me, or please do anybody know sites for this interest or anybody knows names of famous world competitions……….well I really
wanna know cause I partially finished with my 600 page novel ,,,,,,,,,,,

You own the copyrights as soon as you put the words down. It is considered amateur for people to purchase copyright before they send a book to a publisher/agent.

6 hundred pages? I think you need to do a second draft and work on cutting that down to about 400 or so. Unless you're name is Thomas Pynchon, that is a LOT of pages.

If you are interested in competetions that are legit, go to Preditors and Editors and go through the list.

But draft first!! C.
