I have this friend who want to be in her "cool" group, but it involves not being friends with some people that I really like (as friends). Should I be in this cool group or stay out?

well if u want to be cool then go for it. but realize that if they don't like you for who you are then they're probably not going to be your best bet. usually when you ditch your good friends for the cool ones then they end up ditching you and by that time your old friends are still mad at you and don't trust you as much!! i would stick w/ your friends and not the cool ones cause it will save you alot of trouble... trust me

Well if you need to be in a cool group to be cool. Guess anybody that joins isn't cool they just think they are. All it is is a group of hypocrites. Because a group should be made from all kinds of different people not just the cools ones. SO if you have to drop friends to join your better off with the friends you have now.

What do you want to do? Look inside yourself and see what you would be more comfortable with. Good friends are very hard to find. "Cool groups" don't always make the best friends. Think hard before you destroy a really good friendship.

No. Coolness should not mean you have to give up other friends.
