It's good. the beaches get a little crowded at times so keep an eye on them. But there are numerous restaurants, some good theme parks(nascar, myrtle grand prix, alligator adventure). I loved it as a kid and still do to this day.

SO MUCH FUN!!! I have 3 small boys ages 5,2 and 5 mos. I take my boys there a few times a year, and they love it. There are so many things for kids to do. There is the MB Zoo, the Brookgreen Gardens, The Children's Museum, Alligator Adventure, Ripley's Museum, Aquarium, and Horror House, plenty of putt putt golf, and of course the sand and beach, just to name a few. What kid wouldn't have a blast doing all of that. It is a great place for the entire family. I hope that you enjoy your trip!!

i wouldnt suggest taking kids to MB. Seriously. i dont know if its this bad year round, but i went to MB during senior week and all of the hotel rooms around mine were full of people throwing keggers. there was a chick talking on her cell phone begging someone not to leave her there, and someone flashed us.
