Sorry, I am referring to the East Midlands, not London.

Whereabouts in the UK?
Im in SW London (well outside zone 6) and I earn £22k doing that job.
In central London with 5+ plus experience at a high level you can be looking at £35k.

Okay, I lived in Derby for a bit, so I kinda know the job market, depending on what experience you have ie do you have PA experience, or specific legal PA experience? I would say not less than £17k - email via the site if you wanna give me more details etc.

Have a look on Monster; they have a salary checker that you can use so that you can find relevant results for your area.

I live in London and as a legal PA with experience in London, you could expect to earn anywhere from £25,000 - £38,000. I know it's a huge range but it depends on how much experience you have, specifically what your duties are, the size of the firm you are working for, if shift work is involved and what additional benefits you get.

As far as I understand, salaries outside of London should typically be around £4-5k lower in this field, so you should be looking at not less than £20,000.

In terms of a normal wage range for PAs, those who work in the legal field are generally the best paid. It's hard to give you a good idea of figures because the duties of PAs vary so much, for example, in London you could be looking at £16k to work in a reasonably junior position in the public sector, or up to £65k in some sectors - but those earning that sort of wage are not really PAs in the traditional sense.

In all, if you've got legal experience, stick with that and you'll do fine!
