I don't think he is, but if I'm wrong, that would certainly " hinder " their future as a band.

Just a rumor. It is possible that this rumor got started after a high profile murder case in South Carolina in March of 2006 where a minister "Matthew Winkler" was shot to death in his bed by his wife Mary. It's easy to see how someone could confuse Austin Winkler and Matthew Winkler...kind of.

no its just another rumer like someone started about how sonny moore the lead singer of from first to last suposidly killed himself, but he didnt
