My favorite is Petra (in Jordan) ... one of the world's incredible archaeological wonders, right up there with the pyramids of Egypt and Cambodia's Angkor Wat.

El Castillo -- the Temple of Kukulcan in the Mayan city of Chichen Itzen for its mysterious shadow of the Plumed Serpent:
From Wikipedia: On the Spring and Fall equinox, at the rising and setting of the sun, the corner of the structure casts a shadow in the shape of a plumed serpent - Kukulcan, or Quetzalcoatl - along the side of the North staircase. On these two days, the shadows from the corner tiers slither down the northern side of the pyramid with the sun's movement.

Stonehenge, for the mystery of it. I don't mean I believe aliens set up the stones, but the advancement of those ancient peoples is amazing to me.
I've loved Egyptian history since I was a kid. I got this book on Tutankhamun when I was six, and I read the crap out of that thing, and it spread from there, so the Step Pyramid at Saqqara is my second favorite.
As well as all the nifty digs in Asia......

I don't know, we have a few little wonders near us, Canterbury Cathedral is meant to be pretty famous and yet I walk through there almost every day. I love these old buildings, and you wonder how on earth they ever got there and the determination it would have taken. I noticed some old graffiti on the cathedral walls from an an R.T 1606 and it was so neat and tidy, and you wonder who this person was and what he got up to.

Pompeii was amazing. I remember reading about it when I was in younger and being intrigued. I was just in awe when I visited though. The whole town really was rather advanced for it's time. And to see the "people" covered in lava was something most will never see.

The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses in China.
They're just so supremely wonderful, majestic and awe-inspiring.There's over 7000 of them and they were left by a little boy-emperor; that just blows me away!
