I'm doing International Business Studies and French at LJMU (UK).
In Business so far, I've enjoyed Mircoeconomics & Data Interpretation (even though it's a bit hard). I've also done Skills for Business(easy, although not sure whether this is a good thing or not), Organisational Behaviour (Which I can't really get my head round, frankly), Financial Accounting (NEVER, EVER again) and am technically doing a Data Management course, but have only done the coursework for it rather than the weekly assessments due to a timetable clash.
I know I could do these assessments in my own time and I say to myself that I will do them, but I've never got round to it.
I'm a member of the Links (St John Ambulance), drama and LGBT socs. Links is always good and I really want to be able to go out on duty when ready. Drama I don't know bout (first sesh is 21st), LGBT is mainly boys and seems OK thus far (I must admit to having an immature discomfort with being in the vast minority there). CONTINUED

I enjoy myself when out with other people sometimes, but I don't like going out all the time and my best friend is a pretty prim girl who doesn't do typical student activities and is on a different course from me (I haven't heard from her for over a week - I should text her and ask how she is).
I'm finding the academic side's not that brilliant, but - I have a feeling - it's not the worst either.
I didn't really have much of a say in the choice of accommodation (Parents did for the main part) and no say at all in who I was with.
Wary of flatmates other than this girl mentioned earlier. Although I think we could become very close, we are - I must admit - almost polar opposites.
I used to do cheerleading, but that was given up due to friction between JV and SV and lack of funding.
I have no idea exactly what I want to do careerwise (Sometimes I think of being a businesswoman dealing with French and possibly marketing or economics, other times an interpreter or translator)

I would do work both from French to English and vice versa.
When older, I'd like to learn how to be a masseuse (and get a qualification for it if poss) and learn at Jamie Hewlett's art school (Failing that, one that teaches how to draw better but not focuing more on modern and cartoon styles than traditional).
I like the city I'm studying in and visit the docks as often as I can.
I can't think of anything else to put here, but I'll add it as and when it appears.
Sorry for such a long post, but I wanted to get down as much detail as poss.

One thing I forgot to add is that in my course, I sometimes wonder whether I'm actually contributing to the downfall of uni education. No idea about generally - I mean, times change - but it feels to me like my course is what's known as a 'Mickey Mouse course' in the UK i.e. a degree not worth the cetrtificate its name is on.
Media Studies is a popular example and I can understand why it's seen as a bad idea (People do take it just because of the perceived easy ride, but I did it for A-Level and it is actually rather a lot about media theory, which is more challenging).
Part of me is also wondering about social studies of some kind (Organisational Behaviour involved Pyschology in some forms, but I don't understand it, like previously stated).
