Well, here in the US, I went a great big cookout. The Hosts, who are second generation irish, supplied the corned beef and cabbage, soda bread, and veggies. All the guests brought a side dish. A little bit of Irish fare a little bit of American fare. Plenty of rum, beer, and jello shooters. There must have been 50 people there. The guys pitched horse shoes out back and the ladies cheered them on (between heckling, of course). We also had a big bonfire as it is still chilly outside. We had a blast. Can't wait for next years St Paddy's Day.

I took the kids to a parade in Tokyo. It was fun to watch, and not a single person drunk!
