Does anyone know if Walt Disney World and Universal Studios offers a free vaction planning DVD? If so, how does one go about getting one? Thanks ahead.

Disney does offer a free vacation planning kit. You can fill out the form and then they will send it out to you, but it can take several weeks to get.
Universal doesn't really offer much, aside from their regular site as far as info is concerned.
You may consider going to your travel agent to get some brochures and things. Disney's DVD is great, but does take some time to get, so that would save you some time. They could give you brochures for both Disney and Universal and the DVD for Disney, so you can save some time waiting for it to be shipped.

Yes I know that Walt Disney World offers a free vacation planning video but I do not think Universal has one.
My video just came in and it has a lot of cool stuff on it.

Disney does, if you go on the web site you can order one. www.disney.com, they are very helpful, if the web site doesn't have the order option anymore just call there vacation number that you can get off the web site and ask for one! I know they still send them out!
HAVE FUN! Also my I suggest a book you can get it at most book stores and Barnes and Nobles.
its called the Birmbaum. it has A TON of info, its a yearly book so it has all the newest info in it. Also there are coupons in the back ( well i think there are, i haven't gotten 2007 addition yet) that are very useful! Have fun!

Universal doesn't seem to have one available from their website. However, I have received a vacation video from them when I have stayed at a few nearby resorts. They give it to you at check-in. It isn't so much a planning DVD, but rather shows their entertainment and attractions to let you know what they offer.

You can get a free vacation planning DVD from Disney....we just got one and our kids want to keep watching it so they can see what they want to do first...LOL.
