And the answer is that India is one of the countries that has talented IT professionals that are available cheaply to U.S companies.

They are cheaper to hire, and easier to get rid of when they are no longer useful.
USA has been short changing it's education system for years. They can not afford to train the people they want so they hire from places with extra trained people.

You mean IT? They are well qualified and can provide equally good or even better services for much, much cheaper $$$, one might call it “cheep labour”.
