I too am on option 1 at the moment and have just had an e-mail offering the upgrade. As I read it option 1 Total Broadband has the home hub plus an increase in your download limit from 2 to 5 gig and 250 minutes wi fi access from hotspots for £17.99. Check out BT website to make sure I am right but if you are OK with your current limit then you don't need to go to option 3. Save the cash for a few beers or something.

we've basically upgraded to the homestead hub and hub telephone, we earlier had a Voager one hundred. with the exception of a touch problem at the same time as loading the application CD, so a procedures, we've had no complications. the speed is more beneficial than we idea and our prompt computer appropriate immediately, with no problem. Our computer computer is appropriate to the hub by USB, back no problem. i imagine the speed relies upon on your section yet we've a pair of acquaintances who've those days replaced to the homestead hub and they are happy with the service. we've in undemanding words been making use of it for a couple of minutes yet we are more beneficial than happy with it. The hub telephone works superb, plus evening and weekend calls are loose. We took out a 12 month settlement with BT, they're no worse than the different service service as regards help desks and so on. that's nevertheless early days for us, we appeared in any respect the different available thoughts and so a procedures we are inspired with the homestead hub.

Bt broadband not worth it. The speed is minimal, unless you live next door to the exchange. And as an already bt customer, you know that they are not excactly on top of customer service. Go with the cable bb.
