seems like you're going through puberty...and i remember being alarmed as well, if you already got you period then perhaps its discharge of your eggs or you could have gotten excited and became wet. or it could be a yeast infection. if you're a young girl then let your mother know. If you're an adult them make the judgment and go to a doctor if you think it might be a yeast infection.

How old are you? Are you having sex? How gooey? Any odor? If it smells fishy, and has the consistency of something like cottage cheese, it could be a yeast infection. If you are sexually active, are you on birth control? If there is a chance you may be pregnant, then excessive amounts of discharge are one small symtom of pregnancy. Also, after intercourse, your cischarge will be gooey, like semen, because it is the semen left over from sex. If it is just small amounts daily, and doesn't have a foul odor, then it's probably just your normal discharge. Annoying, yes, but normal- your vagina has to stay lubricated somehow or you would be very uncomfortable.

Your discharge is from the vagina area.
Substances emitted from the vagina can vary in consistency (thick, pasty, thin), color (clear, cloudy), and smell (normal, odorless, bad odor).
Having some amount of vaginal discharge is normal, especially if you are of childbearing age. Glands in the cervix produce a clear mucus. These secretions may turn white or yellow when exposed to the air. These are normal variations.
The amount of mucus produced by the cervical glands varies throughout the menstrual cycle. This is normal and depends on the amount of estrogen circulating in your body.
Vaginal discharge that suddenly differs in color, odor, or consistency, or significantly increases or decreases in amount, may indicate an underlying problem like an infection. If abnormal vaginal discharge is due to a sexually transmitted disease (STD), your sexual partner(s) will likely require treatment as well.
The following situations can increase the amount of normal vaginal discharge:
Sexual excitement
Emotional stress
Ovulation (when you produce and release an egg from your ovary in the middle of your menstrual cycle)
These conditions can lead to abnormal vaginal discharge:
Vaginal yeast infection -- Technically not an infection, yeast that normally live in the vagina overgrow, causing a cheesy white discharge with redness and itching. Vaginal yeast infections may be related to antibiotics, birth control or other estrogen pills, pregnancy, diabetes, or a weakened immune system.
Bacterial vaginosis (BV) -- Bacteria that normally live in the vagina overgrow, causing a grey discharge and fishy odor that worsen after sexual intercourse. BV is not sexually transmitted.
Trichomonas ("Trich") -- A sexually-transmitted parasite that causes yellowish-grey or green discharge and intense itching.
Other infections and sexually transmitted diseases like chlamydia or gonorrhea.
Forgotten tampon or foreign body.
Cervical or vaginal cancer -- rarely a cause of excess discharge.

It's called discharge. Every girl has it. It should be white, or clear. Usually you will have it, or more of it when you are ovulating. If you have a lot more than usual, or if it is dark, or really yellow you might have an infection, and should see a doctor to get treatment.

Blah, don't listen to those jerks. It might be an infection, you may want to see a gyno just to make sure. Or it may be normal.
"Almost all women have vaginal discharge. It may be white, yellow, clear, stretchy, or sticky. It may be there on some days and not on others. Usually this discharge is normal."

It depends. A women's natural secretions vary throughout her monthly cycle, what you are talking about may be totally normal and you might just want to wear a thin pantiliner when needed. But it wouldn't hurt to see an ob-gyn to make sure, and they can explain to you how the mucous secretions change throughout your monthly cycle and why.

Natural juices telling you what phase of your cycle is in. Each change in appearance and texture represents your hormone levels! When young it's abundant and decreases with age . Change your panties frequently, keep kleen and use panty liners when it's worse. Any itch or unusual odor find a doctor.

Just discharge. It could be an indication that you are getting ready to start your period, or it could be an std or yeast infection. Go to the doctor if it has a fishy smell to it.
