The formation of molecules by cells generally from smaller simple raw materials is called biosynthesis.
Biosynthetisc reactions produce proteins([polypeptides) from amino acids .
Glycogen and starch from from glucose
Fatty acids and cholesterol from acetic acids
Fat from fatty acids
Certain vitamins are synthesised in the animal and human body using raw materials Eg.vitamin A,D,Etc
