Could be for a few reasons:
-Your internet connection is not quite fast enough
-If you are on Cable, it is a shared bandwidth, so there are times when your internet will be a lot slower (peak times)
-The website, or server that you are getting the feed from is slow, or has a very high traffic.

Unfortunately, there is little you can do about it, unless you switch internet service providers.

In buffers ahead of time in order to ensure seemless playback (hopefully) It could and would never be truly streaming because latency in the internet would cause it to stop.

I feel the same way. I always thought that my computer was messed up. I can't figure out how to listen to music on the net. I just get music on the web when I go to sites with it.

once you've your computer configured incorrect like,"dial-up" or a % it truly is too gradual, this can ensue. if you're dsl, than you want to set your computer on that putting. this isn't an absolute remedy in spite of the undeniable fact that it helps.
