Lime Green Dress?

Question

I recently got my spring fling dress and its lime green with a halter and its a good not too short length.. my friend who came with me said it looks gorgeous and plus its more of a spring color.. do you guys agree? i kinda have no choice now because its friday but i dont know.. i always have low confidence with clothes and then when i take the risk i get tons of compliments.. any advice?

P.S- We're not allowed to wear any shoes in the gym :]

i don't think your friend would lie to you, and it is more of a spring color. and they dress sounds really really pretty. if you are worried about the color, wear different colored accesories to tone it down a little. also, what color shoes are you wearing? try and wear a necklace or something that matches them to tie the outfit together. and honestly, if you always get compliments you obviously have good fashion sense and have no need to be nervous.

also, wear natural makeup. if your makeup is too bright, then it will clash with your dress.

Go for it. I got a bright green dress (but not a real green dress, that's cruel - sorry! A joke that maybe a couple people will get) for a law school cocktail party. If you're one of the people that green 'pops' on, which it sounds like you are, you'll stand out and look good.

Certain shades of green will make some people look dead or tired, but if you were that sort of person, you'd already know that by now. It sounds like you have the self-confidence to pull this off and the color will look great on you, so go for it.

Quick tip: Natural, natural makeup. If you wear bright makeup with a neon-colored dress, and it stands out along with your dress color, you might look a bit too much like a clown, so please wear natural makeup with the super-bright dress.

Ooh! Lime green! That sounds neat. You'll definitely stand out! Maybe you'll start a trend! As for accessories, you might want to try earrings and sparkly hair clips, rather than necklaces you'd wear with a normal shirt/dress. If you pull your hair up, this gives you lots of options for jeweled clips and barettes, as well as setting off gorgeous chandelier earrings.

if you act confident, you will get alot of compliments. Green is really in this season. Since its a halter dont wear a necklace, nice chandelier earrings would be cute and a bracelet. I always wear pink accessories with green clothing, i think that combo is perfect i dunno maybe thats just me.

Sounds cute. It really does. you could wear some kind of shell necklace with it, or something a bit chunkier and colorful, since it sounds kind of fun and tropical.

cute. try some cute earings, you shouldn'y wear any big necklaces cause of the halter neckline. you could wear an anklet, too.
