they rejected me once for a lame medical reason. if they would lighten up on their acceptance policies i would have already been there.

also, one of your other answers "Jennifer" either clearly doesn't know what she is writing about or is trying to mislead people on purpose. Despite what hippies say, wars do not need approval from the security council, however the iraq war did have a resolution authorizing war if saddam did not cooperate with UN weapons inspectors. There are also other ways war can be waged such as self-defense, and on humanitarian grounds. Since Saddam murdered millions of his own people and they were starving, this would also justify action. Also, self-defense doesn't mean that you have to wait to be attacked before waging war. There is something called "anticipatory" self-defense, which means that you can attack first in self-defense if you believe you are about to be attacked. It is sad when someone, like Jennifer, takes 1 class in international law from a hippie burn-out professor and thinks she knows everything. My God, are people like her our future????

He should be asking his daughters to go. That's who he should be asking. He's the one that got us into this mess. Why should I go clean up his failure, his lies and his bullsh*t? It's time that the GOP and Bush and Cheney take personal responsibility for this mess and clean it up. But they won't, they will blame everyone else including dems, liberals, Cindy Sheehan and MM for their mess. So no, I won't go clean up his sh*t in Iraq either. Besides, war is against my Christian beliefs.

BTW, all you people who say that they would go now if asked by the prez, why are you waiting to be asked? GO NOW if that is how you feel. Did you wait for your momma to ask you to clean up your room? Get to Iraq NOW!

BTW, Anthony, self defence does mean that you are attacked first. If you attack first, before being attacked yourself, you are on the offence.

No. The US military shouldnt be there. I have a brother in the Marines & we worry sick about him getting killed by a roadside bomb or a helicopter crash everyday. Our soldiers arent dying in war, theyre dying just being there.

If he asked me personally....then I would reenlist for a 2nd time.

Until then, the war in Iraq is a mess, nor is there a final victory plan.
