Since you asked this in the baseball section , I'm going to give you a baseball answer. If your going to strike out at least strike out swinging. If you don't ask her out then you have guaranteed 100% that her answer will be no- or in scorers shorthand the dreaded backwards "K".
Even if there is only a 100:1 chance that she will say yes it's one chance you that didn't have before.
When you ask her out have a definite plan in mind , time date , event, Plan B if need
Since this is still the baseball section baseball games can actually be great first dates if you live in a city that doesn't charge really high prices for tickets or you could watch your local college/ minor league team play.
I have dated a lot of really pretty/ beautiful women in my time and the reason I did was because I would walk up to the most beautiful woman at a party strike up a conversation and if I struck out swinging I would talk to the second most beautiful woman and so on. Did I strike out a lot ? sure Did I get a lot of home runs -Yes
Reggie Jackson struck out 2597 times on his way to the Hall of Fame-proof that if you keep swinging good things happen.

This is the baseball section. If you want a good answer I suggest going to the dating section. If you want to ask her out just walk up to her and start talking with her. If it goes well ask her out. Ask her if she wants to go get something to eat or go somewhere. Thats the best answer your gonna get in a baseball section.

Since this is the baseball section, i suggest you offer her an extra ticket to a baseball, (Or hockey, or basketball) game. See if she wants to go with you. (but seriously, next time, dating section)

Ok there are two problems here. One your name is Hitch shouldn't you know ow too. And two its the easiest thing to do (well since its always a yes for me). But, all you have to do is go up to her and say. Would you go out with me or Want to hang out sometime or you free this friday.

get to know her better first so you feel more comfortable around each other and then ask her out you'll feel more confident about it
