Okay, this is going to sound confusing..or completely retarded. Either one, so bear with me please.

I have a ton of Podcasts, and I have a seperate folder for them, but they still go into my main song list on my iPod. So I basically have doubles of them, one in the Podcast folder and another one on my song list. When my songs play straight without me skipping over them, they eventually get to my Podcasts. How can I get my Podcasts to just play when I go into their folder and NOT in my main music list? Is there any way to delete from there without deleting them from the Podcast folder I made?

Just create a seperate playlist with your music only. When you want to play only songs, play then from here as opposed to the root directory.

Strangely enough, there's no way to do that to where they won't show up in your music folder, but as suggested before, just make a separate playlist for just music files. What I did for mine was make a smart playlist called "All Music", with the parameters set as:

Podcast - is false
Kind - does not contain - MPEG
Kind - does not contain - quicktime movie

To get rid of the podcasts and videos from the music list. I can't imagine why they don't offer an easier way of doing this.
