Hi, I went to the obticians last Tuesday and had my eyes tested thoroughly, got two pairs of very stylish glasses, both with reactor lens and all for £149.95 and am perfectly happy. Don't think I'd get all that on the 'net', for one thing how would my eyes be tested?

I'm suspecting that it could be because the glasses you get from the High Street are original designer label glasses and those on the internet are highly likely to be fakes. Also in the High Street you get to try the glasses before buying them ensuring that they suit your face shape but you have no such luxury from the internet.

Some people like giving all their money away to large corporations instead of keeping it for themselves.

For example the glasses which are sold on www.myoptics.co.uk are just as good as the glasses which rip off merchants such as Spec Savers sell. Believe me I've bought them myself!

However, whereas the frame alone will cost you £90 at Spec Savers you can buy the frame and lenses for about £25 at myoptics.co.uk.

Its just another example of rip off Britain!

Because the quality is guaranteed. When you buy online, they could look completely different.
