I'm getting a tattoo of a pinup but I'm asian and thereby want an asian broad. I've been looking through hoards and hoards of pinup art but i haven't spotted a single asian. It doesn't necessarily have to be by alberto vargas, but just similar in styling. Assistance anyone? And links would be great...

many of the pinups had an asian flair or theme to them, but with european women. The geisha-ish outfit, or the tight asian dress, etc., but wrong ethnicity of the model.
I would say find one of them that you really like, and get a good tattoo artist that can then insert an asian looking woman, have him/her give you a sketch of what they could do.
That way you will also have a unique tattoo!

Vargas had a unique style. I don't think anybody does it anymore. It is somewhat passe because of when he worked. Namely in and around WW2, which is one reason you can't find an Asian one.
