I was the ugly duckling growing up. I won't say I've turned into a swan, but at least something like a dove. Hopefully by the time I'm 50 in a few years I can be a proud eagle.

Actually, yes, I had a large growth spurt causing me to be the tallest girl for a while, I was chubby, and my face was just not very pretty. But somewhere in my teens, everyone else grew taller while I lost weight...and I got prettier. So now, I'm, what my friends call me, the short, cute one.
