Residing in a broad bay, Dublin lies between Howth in the north and the headland of Dalkey to the south and the River Liffey separate the town in two making using this town an appealing town you will have the chance with hotelbye to see it. Dublin has provided the world such well-known literary like: Yeats, Beckett, Joyce, Shaw, and Wilde. Dublin was a UNESCO Town of Literature in 2010 therefore is definitely an fascinating town to see especially if you intend to visit Bewley's Oriental Café ;.Several could claim that Bewley's Oriental Café may be the jewel in the crown. I totally feel your pain - i still get misty eyed when i think about the policeman who helped me when i was lost - i was 6 years old and my mother has on the other side of the shop - i felt like my world had stopped...but he stepped over and guided me back into her loving arms.......It was a life changing moment.....I have always felt very emotional when i see a very tall well built policeman ..... I still go back to the same shop each year on the anniversary - it sounds silly but it does make me feel somewhat closer to him - does that make me wierd?..... goodluck in your search.

Try contacting the post office, see if they can contact him from their records. They will be able to give him your contact information, and hopefully he will get in touch with you. Hope it works out.
