Right...lately my spots are terrible and they've never been this bad. I want to know two things...

What is the best concealer you know of that is made for problem skin i.e. medicated

Are the 17 range (UK) concealers any good? In particular the even tone corrector stick (green colour).

And please don't tell me not to wear it as they are so bad I can't just go out like this. **Sighs**

Thankyou in advance!

Oh yeah and I can only buy from shops not internet, and would prefer it to be the cheaper end of things e.g. 5 pounds, but I can stretch to about 10 if I must! :D

I really like Almay's concealer stick. I think it's called Almay Amazing Lasting Concealer...and it really does last awhile and works well too. If not go to a makeup counter in a department store and they are sure to help you out. Good luck hun!

I agree that Avon probably has the best product in your price range. If you can afford it, I recommend Bobbi Brown Cream Concealer...it's very high quality and worth the price (around $25 US). Plus, it will last a good long time. I've had the last one I bought for over a year...and it's as good as the day I bought it. VERY IMPORTANT: choose a color that matches your skin EXACTLY; otherwise you're wasting your $.

And medicated concealers don't work very well. Just use a good acne treatment on your face (Paula's Choice makes some really good acne treatments with 2% salicylic acid) and then apply your makeup.

I would advise not to try those colour correcting concealers (ei. green/purple..etc), because you can easily apply too much or make you spots more noticable. With that been said, if you really prefer to cover them up, try Almay medicated concealer. The best non-medicated concealer would be MAC moistureblend, in the tube. Soft and flawless, covered me up perfectly.

Sorry I dont have the prices... I dont live in UK so have no idea how the currency works.

I use Maybelline's Age Rewind Concealor. Even if you don't need to look younger, it covers nicely. Plus, it's cheap. I just blend it under my eyes and on a few spots, pat some powder on and I'm done!
