personal exp of sex bringin on labour plz!x?

i am due my baby in 4 days and really would like to go in asap and am thinking of havin sex to bring it on.has anyone used this technique? if so how far gone where u when you tried it and how long after having sex did you go into labour? please get back to me thank you!x

I had sex, 2 days later went into labour 1 week early......

I had my last baby in sept last yr and from about 35 wks I wanted him OUT!! I tried everything but castor oil and the little bleeder was still 4 days late! I know that the last thing you want to hear is me telling you that baby will come out when it's ready but that is so true. It is just coincidence that some poeple have sex or eat spicy food etc.. beofre they go into labour. It will only work if your body is ready. However sperm does contain a chemical that helps remove your membranes when your body is ready. I think you should just keep your hopes up and try everything, if you dont you will go crazy!! I had sex, ate spicy, walked 6 hours daily taking family on tours that were visiting for the baby's birth, had sex again.

Nothing worked! I was induced on week 41.
Ended up having a c-section.
She was sideways and couldn't drop, she would never have been able to be born vaginally.

They had even "strpped" membranes, pretty much scratched at the cervix to accelerate the effacing and dilating....

Sex working is usualy an "old wives tale"

I would definitely give it a go, I was four days overdue with no signs of going in to labour at all. Had sex round about 11am and waters broke at 5pm ! .

I tried it, but it was too uncomfortable or me!!
What worked for me was, we bought a new car, took it out for a drive over some speed bumps and went for an Indian....at 5.40 the following morning my waters broke!! I had also done lots of walking about 3 days before too!!

Okay this is personal experience.....37 weeks I was dialating and the doc said any day now....not to be gross but rough sex 2x's in a row.....went into labor within 15 min. Good Luck, Hope it works for you! Congratulations!

My cousin last june was a week past due and had sex to try to induce her labor and guess what she started going into labor about 20 minutes into having sex so it worked perfectly for her.

of course you could. hard artwork ist all that undesirable on the commencing up. Its painful yet no longer until eventually the top extremely. if your as much because it choose for it! women persons tend to experience greater soreness while they're in hospitals with those annoying video show gadgets and marvelous lighting fixtures and concern on the subject of the Birthing technique. i might experience greater soreness If I have been in those situations. I had my daughter certainly in a start center and nevertheless it became no longer a sexual journey it became intimate for me and my better half :) no longer That undesirable in any respect!

this isnt my personal experience--cos i had a precious baby and they said NO SEX till the baby is born--thank heavens they din say--No sex till the baby is an adult-but many of my friends have told me they wanted to induce labor the fun way-via sex-and it worked for almost all of them-ask ur doc if its safe--i mean if u had a normal preg--by all means go ahead--but if urs was anyhting like mine--i conceived after 10 yrs--ask ur dc--all the best--if U DO do it--lemme no when u went into labor--Gud luck--sweet realities

5 DAYS EARLY, HAD SEX AT 8PM, WATERS BROKE 10PM, VERY MILD CONTRACTIONS UNTIL 6.30AM, WENT TO HOSPITAL WAS TOLD I WAS 3 TO 4 CMS, AND BY 7 AM MY BABY GIRLS WAS BORN 6 POUNDS AND 11 OUNCES.
