Try a low carb diet. I know you crave them but after a few days of going low carb, your cravings will fade.

I also have pcos and you really need to talk to your doctor about the type of diet and exercise program you need to be on because certain diets can end up making you sick due to whatever problems your having. As a example I had a blood test and along with some minor problems I had along with the pcos the doctor suggested I go on a diet, well I tried the low carb and it made me feel terrible so I called my doctor and she said with everything I had that I really needed to be on a low fat diet instead and totally changed things around and I had more energy and actually started losing the weight so talk to your doctor first before making any decisions.

i don't know what pcos is, but i do know that having a craving does not mean that you have to indulge yourself every time you have one. come up with a healthy eating plan {not a no- or low-carb plan, as they are unhealthy and since you crave carbs now, you will feel deprived and have a harder time sticking to it}, and then stay on that plan. only allow yourself to give in to your cravings occasionally. you will eventually start to lose some of your excess weight, and that should help you to keep eating right. also, add a bit of physical activity to your day. make it something just for you, that does not involve the children. this should help you to look forward to your exercise time as "me-time", and make it more enjoyable.

Hi, I sympathise with you, I have PCOS too and also suffer from excessively greasy skin. I have major weight problems and am always hungry. I read about it recently and actually it is a quite complex issue with your digestion. So just a healthy diet doesn't do it sometimes. I have been having accupuncture and it does seem to have helped me with food cravings. I now need to start exercising. I am eating less than before as well. Good luck, but you need to be in it for the long haul :-)

I have bad PCOS (weight gain, oily skin, facial hair, irregular period) and i got fed up with taking pills for it as they all sent me a bit loopy. After reading some books (would recommmend 'the PCOS diet handbook') and doing some research I have started taking some natural supplements - a vitamin B complex (good for regulating periods and general women's health, Saw Palmetto (for hirsuitism) and Agnus Castus (hormone balance). I feel much better and I don't crave stodgy foods anymore. I have noticed an increase in my energy levels as well as some weight loss. Unfortunately these supplements are not cheap :-(

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/jylFQ

A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

try to miss out refined carbs like high sugar hits(cakes n biscuits) and eat un refined carbs like whole meal bread apples etc the refined carbs give your body a sugar hit which it likes and has you craving for more whereas the others last longer and are more satisfying.if you end up diabetic you will be pleased to know you have to eat carbs....the ones i am reccommending not the cakes and biscuits so you may as well start now.

You mean you have no other symptoms of PCOS apart from being fat? Well the answer is simple. Get yourself on a healthy eating and exercise diet and you will lose weight. We can't sort out your mental block on adopting a healthy lifestyle I'm afraid.

Make sure your aldactone is adjusted correctly to decrease your hormones. Otherwise, yes, PCOS is a very difficult disease as far as weight gain issues.
