You should use a conceler 1 shade lighter than your skin tone. Apply after foundation if you use it.

If it is appearing green or ashy, you may not be using a concealer that is dense enough to cover the blue, hence some of the colour underneath is shining through.
Try a thicker concealer - I really like ones from Becca, RMK, (hard to get hold of but its so good and comes with a basic powder to set it) Shiseido - or you can try a light reflecting one such as YSL's touche eclat.
You should also try going one with pinker tones - so if you are using MAC, try a thicker concealer that being is NW instead of NC.

Ok...yellow concealer works because the under eye circles are purpley/ Blue...and thats the opposite colour...ie it blocks it out....thats why when people have red blotchy skin they use a green toned creme to cover it..because its the opposite colour.
Putting Yellow concealer under eyes won't turn your eye circles green because technically you are not mixing the colours...like paint..the purple is your skin pigment...as long as you blend the colour properly it should not show although i reccomend blending a skin toned concealer over the top just to blend it a little more!
Also try Hylexin...its a stong cream that is designed to fade under eye circles ..its expensive..but very good..available from space NK.
Ooh yes...and try using a light linky eyeshadow powder on your eye..because that makes ytour eyes look more awake!

It would only turn green in you were mixing them. Since you're just covering you under eye circles, the best way to do that is to use the opposite of blue...yellow. Trust me you won't have green under eyes, yellow concealer works really good. They even have green concealer for red spots to to pimples and stuff.

Technically, after 1st grade we should all know blue and yellow makes green, lol.
You should use a skin tone or slightly darker if you want more coverage.
Another choice is to get the vein lightener or something that will make the viens less visable.
Good Luck XOXO

I have the same problem. Fair skin makes those veins even more noticable. I use "Creamy Concealer to Go" by Bobbi Brown that comes with three colors. One has a yellow tint, then the next one is pinkish, and then a powder to smooth over the top. That one is "to go", so it's smaller, but the regular size one only includes one color and a powder. You just tap your finger on top of it, it takes just a little bit. You can find it at Norstroms...here's the link to the normal sized one.

Don't go with yellow. Always use a concealer that matches your skin tone as close as possible. Try using Almay Concealer- it works miracles.
