I think he will probably get a 3 game suspension. Robidas did go after him but he really clocked him. I was shocked at how he knew he was coming, he must have eyes in the back of his head, I don't even know if I think it is worthy of a suspension since he was defending himself but Colin Campbell will probably see it differently.

Defending himself might be a little overboard BUT he was taking an illegal charge AND in a clean fight, Tootoo would kill Robidas.

I totaly agree with you.
Jord should not get the 5 game suspension.
It was a case of who was going to hit who first.
Jord won that one.
I think if he hadn't had his gloves on, it wouldn't have hurt as much.
The gloves now are so so hard,.
I'll defend Jord to the end.
I like the way he defended himself, and I know him enough to say that he would do it again.

Probably anywhere between 5 and 15 games, maybe the rest of the season, but Colie Campbell will probably take into account that he was actually defending himself, as Robidas was attempting to illegally plaster Tootoo into the boards himself. That being said, Tootoo did turn around and clock him pretty good, not quite as dangerous as what Bertuzzi did, but still worth the league taking a look at, since Robidas is likely injured from the play. In conclusion, I would expect anywhere between about 5 or 15 games for Jordin Tootoo to think about what he did wrong there.

he should not get anything. Howeever the ingame call I think was wrong the ref should have sent he with 2,5,10 and game it was a fairly clean punch at a guy that was going it for a GROSSLY inlegel hit. However because the media who only watch one game a season are still up in arms about simions I think Tootoo will get 3-10 games but I will be back for the play-offs

Tootoo saw Robidas coming at him out of the corner of his eye, so he popped him in the face when he got up. It's hard to feel sorry for Robidas when he's the one who went after Tootoo, who didnt even drop his glove. Tootoo shouldn't be suspended at all. I think the refs made the right call, and that should be enough.

How ever many he gets it probably won't be enough. He's turning into a really dirty player. He needs to be stopped.
Modano is lucky he didn't get into trouble, did you see the way he was swinging his stick when he got up after Tootoo hit him? It's a good thing he didn't hit anyone.

I think a couple of weeks ago he gets 3 games, but with the Simon incident still fresh in everyone's mind and hockey taking crap from non-fans about "being too violent" I think he gets 7-10 games.

DEFENDING HIMSELF?!!! You must be crazy.
He was being a total coward, he knew Robidas would kick his butt in a fight so he sucker punched him. he should be out for at least the rest of the regular season.
You must be a Nashville fan.
