The use of the N-word is uncaring and insensitive by anyone who uses it! Thus, labeling the people who do.

The answer is because the word was used as a slur towards blacks. The N word was not used toward anyone else.
If an european american got on television and said the mexicans are ****'s who are spicial spicy, the latino-american community would rally against this person. Why? It is a term used for them. If a european american got on television and said the klu klux klan are ****'s who are spicial spicy, everyone would think they are stupid. Terms are related to specific groups so all other groups are not viewed in its relation.
The problem with the N word is the social acceptance INTERNALLY within the afrodescendent community. Why does that concern other demographics? That is because the music and entertainment of other demographics in todays world emulates the culture of afrodescendants in the united states. To restate, other cultures copy the culture of the descendants of enslaved african nationals and use the terms my demographic use. This is why it matters so much to other demographics why my demographic feels anger when others but ourselves use the N word. Other demographics emulation of my demographic, the Blacks of the United States, is the real problem.

because everytime they call each other the n word they are calling themselves an african slave.
you enjoy calling each other a slave? then stop calling each other that and grow up. Your not special for being enslaved many societies have been enslaved already. How can you expect people to stop calling you that if you call each other that word everysingle day.
omfg everyday using that word, every single day and yet its ok if they say something racists towards another group of people. I understand what you mean.
At times i think they dont wanna be treated equal but they want to be treated better then other ethnecities and pampered. Although I am aware that not every single black person is like this. I know some decent people that never say that word and disagree with that word as everyday use also.

Why are u worried about us anyway, worry about your own race, and plus no matter what happens there is always going to be a double standard in life. Simple as that, why is it that whites control most of America or the world basically? Why hasn't there been a black, native american, chiniese, etc president? So please don't go there with the prejudice card, because racism is all around us.

To tell you the truth the whole thing surrounding that word is stupid. The black community uses that word like its a compliment or something. I tell anyone that asks me this question that if they want to use the word they can. The word describes an ignorant person. It doesn't describe me so why should I care. The only reason they are allowed to say it is because it describes them and their iggnorant ways. All i have to say is if you want to say it say it.

The phrase "N word " is the most childish thing going latley. Use the word however you see fit. If you call someone a N igger in anger just be prepared to back it up. If you can't then don't do it. Instead of "N word" you could have actually used the word n*gger since you were asking a liegitimate question. If that makes somebody mad using it in that context then it is their problem. "N word" is weak. That is a degree of capitulation to far.

If a white person called you a cracker while trying to be funny, you probabally would not think much of it either.
They've earned the right to mock racism.

pondering the historic past of that be conscious and the actual shown actuality that you be conscious of that it really is nonetheless fairly offensive to a pair people, why ought to you want to apply the be conscious? even if, in case you imagine that because you've freedom of speech that you are able to be waiting to apply that be conscious, then you definitely also needs to evaluate that what we are saying and do has accessible repercussions. in case you take advantage of that be conscious even as chatting along with your white associates, you are able to likely get away with it, in spite of if a number of those everybody is likely going to flow away questioning that your backward and a racist. in case you take advantage of that be conscious round people of colour, you in simple terms ought to get your butt kicked. final analysis, you should use that be conscious, yet you accomplish that at your own risk.

Im black myself. I really dont take offense to it like if im with my homeboys.Even if one of my mexican or white friends use it while talking to me i wont be offended.
I would only take offense if someone in the opposite race was arguing with me or some what and called me the n word.
For me i really dont use the word for its meaning, i jus use it in place instead of saying something like, "This fool' or "This cat". something like that.
