I guess that depends on whether you only sent it to people who asked if there was anything you needed or if you just mass mailed it to everyone. A registry definitely helps people know what is needed and cuts down on unnecessary and repetative gifts. I think that your family probably knows you well enough to know that you're not just being greedy, but trying to be helpful to those who are planning to buy you a gift.

You are not greedy the items are for the baby not you I felt kinda pushy when I first created my registries also but this is a wonderful guide for people who have no idea what you want or need I mentioned in my shower invitations that I like lots of items at a lot of different stores and that they do not need to purchase from the registry if they do not wish we would just like the well wishes and there presence if nothing else at the shower if they get me something from the dollar store or a homemade knitted pair of booties I will be happy its just a guideline don't be too hard on yourself!! ''by the way the registry helps with out of town family they can access it online or in there store and have the items sent to you '' CONGRATS!!!

I'm like you when it comes to registeries they make you feel kinda skeevy. I think you should just chill out though, some people really like having the guess work taken out of buying baby gifts and a registry is a good way that they can be sure they are purchasing something that you want/need and you've picked it out so they know it will actually get used. Anyone who thinks about you in a bad sense will just have to deal with it on thier own. If they want to get something for you they pick out yourself I'm pretty sure your not going to throw a fit cause it wasn't off your registry. With three babies you probably have a lot of stuff from the first two, a registry is also a good way to make sure you don't have duplicates of anything, so chill out, try not to feel bad about it and CONGRATULATIONS on your impending bundle of joy!!

Your not being greedy! Just like everyone else said, it helps people figure out what you want and need for your baby. What is really great about the registries though, is that everytime someone buys something from your registry, it gets taken off the list so that way you dont have 3 people buying the same thing. Congrats on the lil one!

CHILL. And ignore the 1st responder.
Your family and friends would likely want to buy you something for the baby. A registry cuts back the process of trying to figure out what you need or want. Most people will likely welcome it as they have no clue what to buy you for your 3rd kid. i.e. maybe you still have a stroller, maybe you dont. maybe you kept your bottle sterilizer, maybe you didn't. etc.
So just relax. Its not as if you are saying 'if you don't buy me what is on my list, I will return your gift' or 'If you don't buy me something I will disown you'. You are simply taking out the guess work for those who may be interested in buying you something to celebrate the 3rd joy in your life =)

just chill out.
Baby registries are a way of letting others that want to get you a gift, some of the things you would like for you baby.
Another good site for a registry is Target.com.

hopefully you picked out things that weren't too expensive that anybody in your family can afford or even your friends are able to afford and willing to spend.
when i was pregnant, i made 2 registries. one with babies r us and one with target. so they had an option to pick either one, b/c target is cheaper than babies r us.

Definitely chill out. You need things, they're going to buy you things. Why not have them buy you what you want or need. Besides, everyone does it. You're not greedy.

I hated registering for my baby shower too.... but look at it this way, your family is going to buy things for the baby. Wouldn't you want them to spend the money on things you will actually need and use? Congrats on the little one!
