I completely understand u're situation I posted a question on here looking for help with my sick dog and they deleted my question saying it didn't follow the guidelines...it isn't right it was just a question about my dog, nothing obscene

And here you are trying to help others out (which is what this site is supposed to be used for) and they want to delete it

sorry, and thanks for reposting so others can know about this

This happened to me after I answered a question regarding other hamster foods. I had hand copied the list since the site won't allow copy and paste to be done. I got a letter saying I was spamming. Go figure.

Email them back asking were you violated the rules and for them to explain how they came to their conclusion that ther was a violation. I had all my points returned after I wrote them. This usually occurs when someone else reports you for abuse. This is what they told me, someone else had reported me for abuse citing spamming as the reason. I always list where my information comes from too.

It may have been because you would have done better by just putting in the url of the article regarding the recall instead of putting the message here, in questions.. after all, it wouldn't be a question...
Plus, you may have gotten reported for abuse by other users..

probably because there are about a billion related posts already, some one was mad and reported abuse on you. Or you used some kind of restricted URL to link to. Couple reasons.

Some idiot probably thought you were posting spam or an email hoax and reported you.

that's wierd, bcuz by now, thousands of people keep saying, "recall of pet food....blablabla, etc..." i wonder why this didn't happen to them also. maybe you should do that contact customer care thing they mentioned.

maybe because its not a question that people can answer and that it appears to be defaming a company or series of companies which could be against YA rules
