I can't imagine growing old without my wonderful, amazing woman by my side!! Maybe you just have hard time picturing that because you havn't found the right person yet, once you meet "the one" it probably won't seem you strange, cause you'll want to spend the rest of your life with them.

I want to live a long long time. Sometimes I see older people on the street that I imagine I might look like when I get old. And I think the idea of growing old with a partner is a wonderful idea.

There's an Armenian blessing I've heard at weddings: May you grow grey together on the same pillow.

I used to dream of growing older with someone...now that I am older and single, I'm more aware of dying alone that with someone I love at my side.

growing old my have it's challenges/problems....but I want nothing more than having my loving partner by my side as I do so. It makes no difference that she's also a woman. We love each other and are committed to each other as any straight couple is. and, hopefully, we won't be too old before we can be legally married as well!

Try to build a wide circle of friends. I do not know how I would have survived without my brother and his family when my partner died unexpectedly. Later I found great support here and can smile at replies from my favorite people.
Best wishes, Rose (nigh on 63) P.

I've been told that growing old together is a wonderful thing. I don't know that gender has a relevance if two people love each other and are committed to each other.

I guess the same way I'd feel if I were growing old being straight.

As one grows older, one gains experience, and that is a good thing, no matter what your sexual orientation may be.

Gay society places too much emphasis on youth.

One can only wonder why you would find it weird.
