Hi. Having alot of dark-colored people in the family, I understand what you're talking about. I'd stay away from really really bright colors such as bright green or bright blue, because often times the contrast is not so nice. Eye-shadow wise, i suggest using soft colors like cream, or light brown. Since you're using this everyday, it'll help lighten the area around your eyes a little bit. Since your eyes are also very dark, I'd stay away from black eyeliner, but like i said earlier, try to stay away from really really bright colors like blue or green. If you smudge a little light brown eyeliner into ur lash-line above ur eye, it would look really nice. The aim here is just trying to lighten up your eyes. You can also use a light eyeshadow such as wight or even light pink right under your eyebrow line. That also helps lighten your eyes.
Most foundations and souffle's dont work very well on dark people. They're mostly used for people with a lighter skin complexion. If you're trying to lighten up ur face a little bit, there's a product that I suggest called loose powder or fresh powder from Yves Saint Laurent. Wonderful product, it also protects ur skin from damage from blush and / or outside dirt coming to your skin.
As for lipgloss and what not, it partially depends on whether u have dark or light lips or full or small lips. Try different combinations of lipliners and lipglosses (id stay away from lipsticks) that match ur personality and looks the best. Sometimes neutral colors work best.
Hope that helps!

you should flaunt your dark skin!
FOR EYESHADOW::
apply really wild colors to your lid, like a turquoise or a hot pink. [Urban Decay has some really wild colors, there really pretty though. also MAC has alot of different colors to choose from!]
FOR MASCARA::
just use a black volumizing mascara [MAX Factor Volume Couture in Rich Black $7] apply two coats.
FOR EYELINER::
depending on what color eyeshawdow you are wearing [like if you are wearing a cream color or a light color] go for a silver or gold eyeliner [Urban Decay 24/7 Glide- On in Dime (thats a silver color)] you could even use a turquiose liner!
FOR BLUSH::
use a very pale pink, find something that will give you a little color to your cheek.
FOR LIPGLOSS::
if you go wild on the eyes use a clear lipgloss.
i think a wild eye will really draw attention to your flawless face and make your dark skin POP!!!!
either way your face will be gorgeous!
hope i helped!

i think alot of dark girls look nice with light yet very simple colours. Like eyeshadow for instance you should choose a very light brown with some glitter(not so glittery) . Try and look for some foundation that goes with ur skin, dont get lighter, dont get too dark. find the perfect one and yup..
good luck

First, formerly makeup, cleanse,moist,and tone. next, you both get tinted moistirzer with powder, or in simple terms powder, or in simple terms tinted moistrizer, then you definitely get some concealer, and shop it below your eyes, round your nostril and the corners of your mouth to cover redness. Then, get a touch one pink blush and shop it on your cheeks. After that, get some white eyeshadow and shop it out of your lids to the foreheadbone, and some mild brown eyeshadow on the lid in person-friendly words, and some white eye-shadow the position your tear nightfall are to make your eyes wider and whiter, and some sparkling mascara(one coat in person-friendly words!) After that, pluck the undesirable hair the position your brows are and get some sparkling mascara or eye-foreheadgell and brush it on your brows, then in simple terms brush your brows! ultimately, get some effective infant pink or sparkling lipgloss! finished!
