Sorry but it's just junk if there not old home family videos.

Sell them at a boot sale 50p-£1 a pop.

i have loads of vhs i dont want anymore and what i am planning on doing is finding out how to put them onto dvd (so i dont have to buy really good films all over again!) and then packing the vhs's up and taking them all down to a charity shop...
or if u'd prefer, u could go to a car boot and make a bit of £££ out of them (although we are definetly talking a BIT of £££!!!)
but definetly dont throw them away that would be a waste as there is always ssomeone who is willing and would appreciate taking them off your hands!!!
as they say one mans trash is another mans treasure!!! (or woman!)

is there someone that you can give them too, don't sell them at car boot sales if they are ones you have recorded yourself off the telly because you could get into the same sort trouble as it would be similar to those that sell pirate dvds. depending on how many you have you could stack them into a coffee table shape and throw a table cloth over them and use it as a table
you could see how much they go for on www.amazon.co.uk I brought a video at a charity shop for 50p and managed to sell it on amazon for £25 because it was a deleted title

Take them to a second hand store. there are a lot of used bookstore/dvd/vhs/cd places that will pay for them. Or list them on Craig's List,or Ebay.

There are several things tha you can do. First transfer any home movies to dvd. Buy a Dvd/Vcr combo. This way you still have a way of playing them. Trade them in at yourlocal video store for store credit. Recycle them buy giving hem to a local school or library.

The tape makes a good bird scarer. You get 300 - 400 metres ( or yards) per tape.

Unwind it and use it to scare the birds off your soft fruit.

Great for allotment gardens (you need to be British to understand this one).

You can use CDs and DVDs hung on strings as well.

You can try to sell them. Do a search online for those who buy VHS. They are pretty easy to find. You can also sell them yourself on Ebay or Amazon. Or you can always donate them to Goodwill.
