Hi everyone. I have gotten my ears double pierced before and they got infected and closed up. Should I get them pierced again? If I do should I get them pierced in the same spot as the last time? Thank you so much. ♥

Oh by the way if I do what stuff should I use to clean them? Recommendations?

Yes, you can pierce them in the same place, but it'll hurt a little more because of the scar tissue for the original piercing. You may want to go to a professional piercer since they will actually use clean materials to pierce you and it is just all around safer (for more info on guns vs. needles: http://www.namaii.com/suck/). You'll also want to look into nicer jewelry (ie. yellow gold is pretty safe for everyone).

As for the aftercare, you can use the cheap stuff from Claires, but I'd recommend something like the H20 Ocean Cleaning solution (http://www.mspiercing.com/Product/H2Ocean-Piercing-Aftecare-361.aspx).

I use to have that problem too. I even tried sterling silver hypoallerginic.

Nothing worked.

Until I started gauging out my ears and went with stainless steel and titanium. That is the only thing that has not caused a problem..

but they're not for everyones fashion style.
