Wasn't as in...while he was still performer. I mean, "Cat Stevens" is dead, because he goes by a new name. He lives a new life now. Cat Stevens is no more...

Actually, Cat Stevens isn't exactly "dead" yet. He had been recording previously recorded songs for a while, but in March of 2006 he came out with a completely new album....it's called An Other Cup. He doesn't go by Cat Stevens, even on the album, but as Yusuf :-( The album wasn't very well received...I didn't like it much.

But, back in the day he was fantastic! My aunt really likes him, she even painted a portrait of him (it's really good)....she also painted a portrait of Bill Wyman (it's when she first started painting....it was suppose to be of Mick Jagger, but it came out as Bill Wyman...lol)

ahh, Oh Very Young just came on my stereo. Isn't that coincidental?

Average on his best days; extremely dated. If those are his major hits, I have to say I know barely over a half of them, and the only thing I ever liked about anything he made was in fact Rick Wakeman's piano on Morning Has Broken, not even the rest of the song. BTW, isn't that a Christian zealot song? The guy has to go fundamentalist, whatever the religion, huh?

He was very good. You forgot: "The Wind", "Tuesday's Dead", "Angelsea", "Longer Boats", "How Can I Tell You", (The best version of that song.), "19th Avenue", and "Miles From Nowhere" they were good ones too.
