one day i rent a dvd but it was full of scratches so i didnt see the movie. i returned it to the dvd store and they used a machine that eliminates all the scratches. i didnt beleive it!! but i saw the movie and the dvd was like a new one. they told me that if i have old cds with scratches i can have them fixed like new ones with 4 euro each cd. try go to a video club store something like that. ( by the way , the movie was terrible)

Go to Target and get the Maxell CD repair machine in the electronics department. It should be around 40 dollars.

There are many kinds of tools (and liquids too) to fix scratches from CDs and DVDs.. You popably will find suitable kit from music or HiFi -shop near you..
Prizes are from $5 to unbelievable..

At CompUSA, they have a product "Scratch OFF" for scratches on cds, DVDs, games, all of that. It really works.

White toothpaste works well. You smudge it into the cracks, going from the center outwards. THen you have to make sure and clean the surface really good afterwards.

you can buy polish to remove scratches like a car polish removes scratches from paint.
