Yes, you may be 'sad' when your 'nanny' has her 'plug pulled' ... and that is very 'natural' since you'll feel sort of 'abandoned' by her death. You may also feel 'anger' and even some 'denial' ... literally, you may, at times, NOT believe that she's 'dead and gone' but that she's alive and well and can come home 'any minute.' This is all natural, and is a part of the 'grieving process.' I think from your 'writing' that you are 'very young' and you may want some 'help' getting through the 'grieving process' from a 'professional' ... and if you do, please tell your parents or school counselor that you NEED this help. Death is difficult to handle no matter what age you are when your 'loved one dies' ... but the first 'family death' is usually the 'hardest' to handle, and you should know that there are 'good people' who can 'help you grieve' and eventually get back to 'being a normal kid' again ... but that will take a year or more, but the 'sadness' and 'anger' will get 'less and less' as time goes on ...

I'm so sorry to hear about your nanny.
It's always hard when a family member dies. Some people can deal with death better than others. Everyone's different. Talk to your family & friends about it. Think about the good things that you can remember about her. If it gets bad, you might want to consider counseling or a bereavement group.
I have had several family members pass away & a few friends too.
Recently my husband's aunt & father both passed away. I think his aunt's death was the hardest for me because I had become so close to her in the 7 years that I knew her. I wished I could have done more for her.... & been there for her more. She was the sweetest, most giving & honest person that I ever met. Her name was Jean & she was 82. I miss her terribly, but I believe that she is at peace now.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that. It will be hard for a while, but think about it this way, she will not be suffering anymore and she will be in a better place. Yes, you will be sad for a while, but these things have a way of working themselves out. She will be watching over you. Peace be with you.

I don't know if I can really describe how much it hurts.Knowing you will never see them again or not be able to tell them how much you love them again is one of the worst kinds of pain there is.I believe in Heaven though and that comforts me knowing my loved ones are happy with Him.

I think you will be sad.. Aww.. Joey.. Give me a huge hug.. Look, my sisters friends mom died and it was hard for me to deal with that. I never met my grandparents from my dad's side because they died so long ago and i found it hard to deal with.
