Some sisters are just trying to get equal rights and pay, and yet the Christian conservatives seemed threatened by that...what gives?

They are afraid of anything that threatens the status quo. They think things should stay the way they have "always" been, forever and ever amen.

One problem with that kind of thinking is that change is inevitable and you had better adapt than try to resist it.

I don't think Christian conservatives are really to blame for "feminazis." The term comes from femenists who acted militantly and we're seen as people who were going to make you accept them no matter what. The same people who shoved feminism down your throat if you wanted to hear it or not. I think a lot of Christian conservatives have issue with feminism because of what it does to traditional family values and it's overall effect on society. So while you may have some CC's who use the term, I think you would be a little suprised by all the CC's that actually believe in the whole equal rights thing.

So with your question you imply only extrimists refer to feminists as feminazis right ? It is not only christian conservatives, but people at large who refer to feminists as feminazis because of their battle for supremacy. This time it isnt about race but gender.
Their actions do not match their talk of equality.

some feminsts are all right but others like the radical feminists are feminazis because nothing seems to satisfy them. And NOTE: we already have equal rights and pay.

We're not threatened, merely disgusted.

Women already get equal pay for equal work. Women already have equal rights under the law. So what are you complaining about?

Feminists are called "feminazis" because some of them get downright militant.

Infinite's answer is right on the money. Most people aren't exposed to "real" feminism; they're exposed to the radical version that wants to force things down people's throats (while denying they do it). Feminism (or movements carrying the name, at least) has helped corrode society in many ways throughout the long march for "women's rights;" it is natural that those that oppose rapid change (conservatives do not oppose ALL change, just rapid change) and have evidence that such changes are detrimental would be frustrated with the peddlers of the change and dub them with certain titles like feminazi.

All reasons simply stem from various ingrained psychological weaknesses/insecurities. Any of the Christian conservatives who do feel this way also share this mind set with many others outside their faith - these toxic attitudes are not limited to CC's.

The term is not applied to all feminists just to the radical members of the feminist movement.

Not just Christians...the word has been demonized. Many men fear strong women as they assert their individuality. Some women follow what a "real man" thinks is sexy.

Very frusterating. The image of a feminist is all butch, angry, and men-haters. It is simply a false image of us.

They don't know any better and they refuse to educate their selves. Some people prefer to live inside their narrow little worlds and never recognize diversity. They only see one right answer and the way that they have followed is the only way. Irrational with their rigidness, to the point that they become zealots and try to solve problems with violent means.
