First of all you should have a DVD writer, then you could use the burning software that comes with it -usually Nero - to burn files on DVD-R.

you can just right click on the file you want to transfer and click "send to" your DVD drive (make sure it is a DVD writer)... it would work even if you don't have burning softwares like Nero and the like....
